Course Description: (Small group class 5-10 students)
The class will focus on improving writing and reading skills for 2nd to 4th grade students. Utilizing games and activities that enhance comprehension and speaking skills as well, students will become more familiar with English as a tool for communication and learning. The goal of the course will be to increase confidence, improve linguistic accuracy, and create a fun learning environment.
About Ms. Peri
After graduating from UC Davis with a degree in both English and Communications, Ms. Peri taught ESL in Aomori, Japan. Her students arranged from 1st to 6th grade with various levels of language acquisition. She specialized at teaching activities and games to make learning a new language fun and exciting. Understanding the different abilities and how to best challenge and encourage growth is a vital part of her lesson plans.
